In his designs, van den Nieuwelaar drew inspiration from movements such as De Stijl and Bauhaus. For the Amsterdam design, van den Nieuwelaar devised an ingenious system: the ribs of the shutters are in fact also the handles of the cabinet. This way, people never have to bend down to open the A'dammer. Whether your interior is modern, industrial or classic, the Amsterdammer is always possible. The innovative roller door system not only provides a practical storage solution, but also creates a visual play when left partially open. There is a light, shallow scratch on one side, -not disturbing- and otherwise the signs of use are appropriate to its age. The cabinet is in good condition; the roller door works fine and is in very good condition. The frame is wood and the roller door is plastic.
