This table ambulante was made is Italy in the period 1900-1910. It is a reproduction of 18th century furniture and was handmade in the early 20th century. Craftsmanship, eye for very fine quality and detailing characterize this table . The partially pierced gilt metal gallery with rim adorns the shaped top. The solid rosewood side table is inlaid with walnut parquet and features two drawers, each with high-quality dovetail joints, flanked by elegant patinated gilt bronze hardware, rising gracefully on four cabriole legs joined by a matching parquet-inlaid centerpiece. The table is finished on all sides and can be placed anywhere in the room. We obtained it from an estate in Yorkshire.
