Gilded brass and crystal wall lamp made by palwa (palme & walter), germany, circa 1960-1970. Composed of crystal pendants cascading over a gold-plated brass frame. These noble materials, such as crystal and gold-plated brass, make this sconce a chic, highly elegant piece that will complement any interior, whether antique or modern. Very high quality and in good condition. Overhauled, in working order. Works with 1 standard e14 bulb. The crystal pendants diffuse a soft, warm light thanks to the combination of gold and crystals, ideal for a living room, bedroom or hallway. Attributed to gaetano sciolari, who worked for palwa. Bright, sparkling palwa fixtures adorn royal palaces, prestigious residences such as the White House, and luxury locations such as hotels, castles and embassies.
