Product description
Beautiful portrait of a small flycatcher, on sheet music. The background color is green and the edges of the canvas Ijn old blue-gray. This painting was made quite recently in 2023 This painting is a connection of a series of portraits of Dutch birds, made in the corona period. This inspired me to look at nature, through a magnifying glass. The small, enlarge it! Painted by Britt Kleiberg 1980, Amersfoort Atelier based in Harderwijk Britt paints animals from all over the world with a story. During the corona period, she highlighted the Dutch birds extra! - She majored in Graphic Design and Styling before finding her calling in contemporary art. Born into a family with a healthy interest in art, she was exposed to art at an early age and began painting when she was 10 years old. She loved going to museums and is grateful for the early education she received. It has given her the background for her current journey as a contemporary artist. Positivity, colors and freedom to move The use of color is an important part of her artistic vocabulary: "Colors make people happy and I want to bring joy and positivity into the world. Her color palette can represent an animal's natural environment, hunting or an emotion; depending on what she wants to communicate. And however more subdued, the background is part of it. She uses strange little shapes of color to "fill" her animals. These represent imaginary continents," she explains, "and can represent the areas where the animal belongs, or where it wants to be. In my artistic world, anything is possible. My animals can roam freely.
