Klaas Gubbels was born in 1934 and is best known for his still lifes of tables, coffee pots and chairs. Less well-known are his paintings of means of transport such as trucks, cars and boats. He combines his motifs in varying formations, colors and sizes. They are distorted, but at other times also fused together again. He knows how to give each piece of work a high degree of individuality.
The condition is very good, dated and signed with K. Gubbels '91-'11.

The work was purchased from the largest Gubbels collector in the Netherlands, Frans van Ooijen from Oss. He was friends with Klaas Gubbels.
