A beautiful rare antique mantel clock ART DECO - by P.SEGA "NYMPH AND PAN" - consisting of a pendulum movement and a sculpture group on a marble base.
Admire the charming scene of a beautiful young dancing woman with a lovely smiling face and a young faun playing the pan flute.
An image of very high quality - very fine - and a light patina. The clock is covered with Onyx and gray marble - complete with original working movement - and working strikes the hours and halves. Complete with key and pendulum. The work is in excellent condition.
ART DECO period - 1920/1930.
PIERRE SEGA, late nineteenth / early twentieth century was a great and famous artist and sculptor of the French Art Deco period. He produced lamps, antique clocks, sculptures mainly white metal - rare bronzes. Highly sought after for its highly creative themes made with taste and flair.
