Original old* Hala 144 desk lamp. Materials. White lacquered round flat metal (iron) base. Chrome adjustable rod and hinge with built-in switch. Curved chrome rod on top. Adjustable mushroom lampshade made of white acrylic. Some metal parts. Bakelite E 27 fitting. Dimensions. Height: 45 cm. Lampshade: ∅ 26 cm. Base: ∅ 19 cm. Tech. Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 100 watts maximum, 110/220 volts. Any type of bulb can be used. On/or switch for on the rod. *This is characteristic of the version in the Period 1950s - 1960s. Earlier versions had a pull cord and later versions had a cord switch. Designer. H.T.J. A. Busquet (February 9, 1914 - June 12, 1977). Manufacturer. Hala Zeist Lampenfabriek, Netherlands. The lamp is overall in working and neat vintage condition with slight signs of use, such as minor bumps and scratches; consistent with use and age of over 50 years. See photos.
