Product description
Unique sample in detail as a sketch of the masterful sculpture of the brothers Antonio and Jose Casasola. Work intended for an altarpiece in the Asunción convent in Malaga and which was tragically destroyed in what is known as the burning of convents, on the night of May 11, 1931. Dated 1895 this image was taken by gold medal photographer M. Osuna. Without a doubt, a photograph of great historical and artistic value being the only window for the enjoyment and contemplation of this masterpiece and even more so with the signature of both artists which makes it feel in some way that this work is still alive. In the images we can see old images of the church before and after the tragic destruction of this wonderful work. Dimensions: 39 cm high x 30 cm
