The Siesta chair, designed by Norwegian designer Ingmar Relling in 1965, is an iconic piece within Scandinavian design.
The chair is a wonderful example of functional aesthetics and minimalism, the core principles of Scandinavian design.
Features of the Siesta chair:
Frame: the frame is made of curved plywood, which gives the chair its light and elegant look. This construction makes the chair both sturdy and flexible.
Seat: the seat and back are covered with black leather cushions, which appear to hang loose but are well supported by the frame and provide comfort and ergonomic support.

Concerns the Siesta model with low back. The wooden frame is dark stained. This Siesta has a black leather cushion and matching black cords that go through the rings in the fabric.
Condition:
This armchair with beautiful age patina is in exceptionally good condition; in terms of frame, canvas and leather cushion. Has no flaws. The luxurious, supple leather is also still in great condition!
In short, a great chair and beautiful interior item for the pampered (vintage) design lover.
