Vintage orange and blue glazed West Germany vase, by Carstens Tönnieshof, 1960s, marked and numbered 116-2L. West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some famous names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but perhaps the biggest were Scheurich and Bay.
