This stool was handcrafted from solid oak by Mobichalet of Belgium in the 1950s.

The pieces have been put together in a way that looks rudimentary and purposely rustic, reminiscent of earlier alpine craftsmanship - chalet chic.
The stool has a very reassuring weight.
In excellent structural condition with minor superficial stain wear in places, consistent with its aged aesthetic. (see photos)
