The SURROUND is an upholstered single seat workpod / workstation with a writing desk and roof. Design by Olle Lundberg for EFG. Designed to create a secluded private area in open plan indoor spaces. The upholstered walls create a sheltered zone. Melange grey colour outside, dark turkoois colour at the inside. The curved upholstered walls reduce noise from your surroundings which makes you feel more relaxed, improves focus, concentration and you can speak free and relaxed when making a call.
The a-symetric work / writing wooden table top made of natural ash is designed to hold your laptop. It has one direct electric socket embedded into the tabletop. The socket provides several small holes for additional small charging wires, which can be attached to a extention hidden below the seating unit (extention not included).
The seating area is very comfortable.
The orientation of the tabletop seems to be predominantly for righthanded persons.
The SURROUND pod is cleverly designed and can easily be dismantled, moved and stored.
