For sale is a completely restored original Ole Wanscher lounge chair with new cushions and cover in "like new" condition! Object: classic Danish easy / lounge chair | Design: Senator, normal backrest | Draft from 1951 Description: solid teak frame; surface with clearly visible wood structure; dark red-brown, partially almost black heartwood, which runs through the surface as if painted; spherical armrests; crossbeams with side elements dowelled and screwed; Fitted seat frame with covering made of durable flat steel spring strips, equipped with new, cover-protecting stretch fabric with additional foam insert; new upholstery foam cushions with new textile cover, removable with zip; Seams are all designed as elegant felled seams according to the original pattern (with this type of seam, the individual cover parts interlock like finger hooks and are then sewn twice. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has a significantly higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than the usual single / standard seams ). Designers: Ole Wanscher, 1903 - 1985, was a famous Danish architect and furniture designer. Manufacturer: France & Son, Denmark Material: Solid teak, oiled / Contract furniture fabric, flat weave with a beautiful medium-sized weave structure Hue: - teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances) - Heather gray The photos are highly exposed so that the 1a condition can also be seen in detail! This makes reddish tints redder and colors generally lighter. The shaded areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reproduce the color tones in real life. Dimensions: W: 68cm; D: 72cm; H: 75cm; Seat height: 44cm Condition: This armchair has been lovingly restored by the restorer using traditional and natural materials. It is so good that it can hardly be distinguished from a new one (if there were one). Feel free to search, you won't find it any better! You will not only immediately see the difference to the armchairs from other suppliers - in particular due to the almost always existing quirks and scratches on the armrests and legs - you will also feel it!
