Painting from the series "Neo Baroque". Painted on paper and pasted on cardboard. Made in 1987.
Dimensions of the painting 43x68cm and the frame 55x75cm.
In silver colored plastic frame without glass.

Nuray Atas lives and works in the Netherlands and regularly exhibits at home and abroad. Her work is included in various municipal and provincial art collections, galleries, lending centers and private collections. In recent years she has carried out various government and private monumental assignments. Education: Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul (M.Sinan University) (1960-1965).
Postgraduate training: Rijksacademie in Amsterdam (1966-1969).
The work of Nuray Atas covers different disciplines, such as painting, installation work, objects, photography, multimedia art (Project Sporen). The paintings are done in oil on canvas. The themes are diverse and inspired by theatre, music, nature, (primal) landscape, light and water.
