Oil painting, by Niels Jensen (1907-2003), motif: landscape, style: Realisme
He was born on October 4, 1907 in Åsendrup v. Vrensted and died on April 26, 2003. The parents were Jensine and Peter Christian Pedersen.
Early on he had to help out on his parents' farm and trucking business, and at the age of 11 he went to work on a farm and went to school only once a week.
In his scarce spare time he had taken up drawing, and it is said that he and a neighbor in Løkken conducted an ongoing competition, in which the other residents had to decide who was the best at drawing
