Guide price € 1.250 Biography - Niek van der Plas (1954) grew up in Katwijk aan Zee, as the eldest son in a family of four children. Niek began drawing at an early age, encouraged by his father. In 1966 he was nominated as a student at the Famous Artist School in the United States. Van der Plas is a colorist. Preferably, he works with warm colors. This gives his work a French atmosphere. The paintings are appreciated by a wide audience at home and abroad.
