We have used this beautifully designed hanging wall unit with five shelves as a bookcase for many years (see photos). Unfortunately we have to get rid of it due to moving to a smaller house.
The aluminum shelves hang on thin stainless steel wires that are attached to the wall with three wedge bolts. The wall unit is still sold.
Ben Hoek's design was awarded the title 'Best Dutch Furniture Design' and was also awarded an Aluminium Award and a Home Furnishing Design Prize.
