Artist Naoki Tominaga's "Divine Rooster" is a modern and high quality sculpture covered with gold leaf.
1913: He was born in the city of Nagasaki, his real name was Yoshio Tominaga.
1938: He graduated from the Tokyo University of Arts, Department of Sculpture.
1953: Nitten judge (16 times in a row).
Received the Japan Academy of Arts Award for "Shinfu" at the Nitten Exhibition in 1972.
1979: He became the president of Nitten.
1983: He was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure.
1986: He became the president of the Japan Sculpture Society.
1990: Honorary citizen of Nagasaki Prefecture.
1997: Received the title of honorary resident of Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
11 April 2006: Died at the age of 93 years.
