Luigi Benzoni (Bergamo, Italy, 1956) studied architecture and art history in Venice, where he still lives. The Chiaristi Veneti, Virgilio Guidi and the masters of School of Murano were his early examples. Initially the artist made paintings. Over time, his work shifted more to the human body and in particular the face, and gradually this became the dominant subject. Its heads have an expression of strength and sensuality. His contemporary work is mainly glass sculptures and his works are unique.
