Product description
Vintage art glass catch-all vessel with layers of gold yellow, cobalt blue and clear glass, made in Murano Italy in the 60s. It is made using the "Sommerso" ("submerged") technique which is used to create several layers of glass inside a single object, giving the illusion of “immersed” colours laying on top of each other without mixing. This model is attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso, however it is not marked. Dimensions: 12 cm x 12 cm x 6 cm (4.7 x 4.7 x 2.4 in.) Condition: excellent vintage condition with some minor surface scratches on the underside and a tiny chip on the inner rim at the top, see pictures for details.
