This is a very rare piece of glass art made in the 1950s to 1960s.
Alfredo Barbini, a glass artist born in 1912 on the Murano Islands in the Venetian Lagoon, Italy, was one of the most important Murano figures of the twentieth century.
The block of glass weighs 14 kg.
