hese Multi Lux Formula cabinets by the furniture factory Kempkes of Waddinxveen (active until 1984) were part of a modular wall unit. These are probably. from the early 1960s.
Formula furniture consisted of stackable elements that could be linked together. Originally the cabinets were executed in macoré with inlaid ash piping. Later the collection was expanded to include versions in teak and rosewood.
The photo shows 3 cabinets stacked against each other. Each cabinet consists of a lower part (drawers or flap) with the display cabinet on top.
My asking price is 300 euros per cabinet (combination of 1 bottom part and 1 display cabinet). So the total combination on the big pictures is for sale at 900 euro.
Height is 185, depth is 46 and width is 88 cm per cabinet.
The two narrower cabinets in the last picture are 155 high and 60 wide and are for sale at 225 each
The cabinets can be picked up in Sint-Truiden Belgium. Delivery can also be discussed for a fee (depending on purchase size and distance)
In good vintage condition
Overall in good vintage condition, occasional light scratches (to be removed with some oil). On left side wall of 1 cabinet some paint chips and 1 piece where the veneer (about 2 cm ) has been loosened and glued back.
