Chair description
Patricia Urquiola has designed a seating collection for private and public spaces from a piece of shell that has been broken and smoothed by waves.
As the name suggests, there is a strong Scandinavian influence with reference to Arne Jacobson and the bays of the northern coasts are depicted in the long recess. Like a natural cycle in which the shell is reborn through the effects of time and water, the chair becomes an armchair and then a chair. Its broken form and abstract concept together become an object of design: smooth lines that support and envelop are picked out in decorative stitching in harmony with the essence of the chair's structure.
With this armchair, you are bringing an exquisite designer item into your home, your company or your institution.
