This pair of modernist easy chairs designed is by Hein Stolle in 1959 for 't Spectrum in the Netherlands. The model SZ25/SZ80 has been in production from 1960 until 1969. The wooden frame is made in solid wenge, and the upholstery is still in blue fabric made by van de Ploeg (Netherlands). 't Spectrum is renowned for its minimalist design, largely created by Martin Visser (founder). The design remains contemporary and ahead of its time to this day.
The pair of armchairs are in their original, unaltered condition. The fabric and wooden frame are in perfect condition. There are only minor indications of wear due to age and use.
