Minimalist desk lamp from the late 70s, early 80s, a square fixture in a contrasting black and white color scheme, striking in its simplicity. Height 42 cm / 16.5 inches Width 38 cm / 15.0 inches Depth 10 cm / 3.9 inches This lamp is often called a Toucan lamp in the Netherlands. It is also reminiscent of the LUCI Abele desk lamp from the 1970s by Gianfranco Frattini. The designer of this version is unknown, the lamp is not marked. In good used vintage condition, with some normal signs of use befitting its age. Minor paint damage on the base, at the bottom of the fixture and a stain on the shade. The black plastic shade has light cleaning scratches. The overall appearance of the lamp still looks fresh and radiant. Please look closely at the pictures (you can also zoom in), the pictures are part of the description. Electrical: Equipped with a Philips Master PL-S 9W 827 - 2-pin bulb, only 8 watts, tested working. These bulbs are now also available as LED models.
