- Miniature burr walnut china cabinet or silver cabinet after Dutch 18th century model made around 1920 with curved lower case containing 4 drawers, above that 2 doors with glass also panes on the sides. A total of 44 small panes. Behind the doors 3 scalloped shelves with gold rim. The whole on an open plinth. - The upper cabinet lockable with a small fitting key. - Miniature furniture was often made as a masterpiece in the 18th century during the time of the furniture makers guild. Later in the 19th century, many cabinetmakers and joiners made small models of their specialties as examples of their skills and for presentation. - Rootnut - Dutch, period 1900-1920 - Dimensions: 0.43 m. X 0.15 m. - Height 0.69 m Accompanying: 20 fine silver miniatures made in the 1920s to 1970s. Partly traceable to well-known silversmiths (a.o. C. Stout 1970s). Several feature silver markings.
Normal light signs of use appropriate to age. No essential damages.
