This vintage sideboard designed by Victor Wilkins for G-Plan, is made of teak with teak-veneered finishes. It has two storage cabinets with center shelves, and beautifully sculpted handles on the doors (see photos.) Piece is in very good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age, previous use and slightly faded areas commensurate with time, on the overall structure (see various photos.) Some marks and signs of previous usage on the top (see photos with 1 cent coins for perspective), a small mark on the left front corner (see photo), but nothing that affects its very cool look, nor functionality. The piece has also maintained its lovely, original patina of time. The cabinets and shelves are very clean (see photos.) The shelves are both removeable and adjustable. At some point, this piece was enhanced by replacing the original skirt (plinth base), with tapered wood legs, which are stable and in very good condition (see photos.) The sideboard is stable and solid. It has only been gently cleaned with respect to its original patina of time. Note: This is classic piece from the G-Plan line, and the identifying G-Plan stickers on pieces from this period, were only glued, versus earlier editions where the mark was embossed, so they have been known to fall off or disappear, with use over time. Although the sticker is no longer present, we have a second sideboard, identical to this one, which does carry the identifying sticker on the upper, outer corner, on the inside of the left cabinet door, where it would be located on all models of this sideboard.
