Mid Century Retro Vintage teak sideboard by GPlan 1960
stunning mid century sideboard by GPlan. This sideboard was produced in the 1960 and is part of Gplans very popular Fresco range to this day still the most popular range by GPlan. Made from beautiful coloured teak and afromosia edge, the handles are oorgnically carved and fit perfectly to the design of this sideboard. Wit one big top drawer, underneath a double door wardrobe and a one door tall cabinet.
British furniture designer Victor Bramwell (v.b.) wilkins is best known for his fresco range for g-plan.
Although all of Wilkins known works were produced by Gplan, there is little biographical information available on the designer.
It can be assumed, however, that he worked as an in - house designer for the british manufacturer for many years.
In a good used vintage condition with some minor signs of use typical for a piece that age.
