Mid century retro vintage teak coffee table 1960
A stunning mid century coffee table produced by gplan.
This coffee table is often refered to as the "mad man" coffee table due to its many apperances on the hit tv show "mad man"
Fantastic design piece with a glass in the middle and a magazine shelf underneath.
Made from beautiful coloured teak and for the
"fresco" range typical afromosia wood.
British furniture designer victor bramwell (v.b.) wilkins is best known for his fresco range for g-plan.
Although all of wilkins known works were produced by gplan, there is little biographical information available on the designer.
It can be assumed, however, that he worked as an in - house designer for the british manufacturer for many years.
