Product description
Folding screen in the manner of Alvar Aalto 1960s France Pine 180cm high, 197cm wide, 2cm deep Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) was a visionary Finnish designer whose furniture defined organic modernism with warmth, elegance, and functionality. His pioneering work with bent wood led to iconic pieces like the “Stool 60” and “Armchair 41.” These designs were part of his work on the Paimio Sanatorium, a landmark project where he explored human-centred design principles. Founding Artek in 1935, Aalto set new standards in furniture production and accessibility, making modernist design widely available.

Small area of green paint to one side. Signs of age and use all over, especially near the bottom.
