Product description
This stylish vintage designer lamp from the former East Germany/DDR was inspired by Scandinavian designs, particularly those of Hammerborg and Thore. The pendant lamps were produced in the 1960s and 70s by PGH Metalldrücke Halle (later VEB Metalldrücke Halle around 1972). This piece will infuse your room with Mid-Century chic elegance and cast a warm, diffused glow throughout the room in the evening. Construction: The lamp consists of several metal plates with a copper-colored anodized exterior and white lacquered interior, arranged in a fan shape facing downward. What's particularly fascinating is that the discs of the ceiling lamp can be rearranged and flipped, offering the opportunity to create a fresh and unique look. The cable has unfortunately been cut, now reaching a maximum length of about 15 cm. This makes the lamp especially suited for spaces with lower ceilings. It can also be easily replaced with a new, longer cable if desired. Socket: E27 (bulb not included)
In good vintage condition with some signs of age, such as surface scratches and significant yellowing of the cable over time.
