Vintage Design Mid-century, vintage, ceramic chalice / decorative vase, by renowned ceramicist, Louis Bacculini of Vallauris, circa 1960's. This beautiful, 20th century, enameled ceramic, piece has a very cool design featuring polychromed decoration, with various hues of blue, green, cream and brown colored shapes and forms on the overall structure (see photos), and a cream color on the inside (see photos.) It is signed and monogramed "LB Décor Main Vallauris" under the base (see photos.) Piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, overall structure, lip, edges and under the base (see photos.) A small mark of use on the lip (see photo with a 1 cent coin), a light mark of age on the inside at the top, light signs of age and previous use on the base, none of which affect its overall look and beauty. No cracks or chips on the body (see photos.) Piece has only been gently cleaned with respect to its original patina of time. All photos taken in natural, indoor light, so colors may vary based upon brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed. A wonderful piece for collectors of ceramics from Vallauris.
