Rare Bauhaus armchair with high back, most plausibly designed by Mart Stam for Veha, The Hague in the 1930s.
Black tubular frame and leather upholstery in good condition, frame probably repainted by previous owner (not sure).
The frame is quite unique - see last photo - when you sit, you get that springy, comfortable sling effect.
Very rare, haven't seen this type of frame before. It could be a prototype. Very rare and truly a classic!Traces of use befitting its age, considering its age in very good usable condition
