Mid-Century, vintage, Italian bamboo and rattan side table with magazine rack/storage circa 1960s.
The overall structure is made of bamboo and rattan as well as the magazine rack with a blonde, brown finish. The top shelf is made of wood with rattan décor and round bamboo edging. The rear of the top shelf has intertwining, oval-shaped forms.
The magazine rack showcases a stunning concave shape design.
Piece is in overall very good original and vintage condition with some very light signs and marks of age and time as well as patina of age on the overall structure, top, legs, magazine rack, and leg tips (see photos).
A great, vintage piece of home décor, with rich, warm colors and a touch of rustic charm, that will complement any given space, whether in an entryway, kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, den, etc. Perfect for displaying framed photos, decorative objects, plants, books, towels, or to use for other storage, in any given space, be it a mid-century, rustic-contemporary, Mediterranean, or bohemian interior, or on a patio, balcony, and even as a bathroom table, et al.
Its design in the style of some pieces of Franco Albini, has clean lines and the structure itself is both functional and stable. It has only been gently cleaned and polished, with respect to its original patina of time.
