This compact, handy bar cabinet from Meurop comes from the early seventies.
The cabinet comes from the 'Meuroplan' series, a series of modular storage furniture that you could attach to each other to your own taste and desire (see the holes on the side), hang floating on the wall, or - if you purchase an optional foot - simply mounted on a pedestal. As is the case here...
This line was originally designed by mastermind Pierre Guariche and slightly modified over the years (other hinges, handles, veneer...)
More than 50 years old, but shiny in its Formica veneer sheet. Only left and right at the bottom and on the side there is some light discolouration. Chrome of the pedestal in good condition.
Originally there was once a glass shelf inside. This is missing, but you can provide it yourself if you wish. The supports are there.
