Beautiful large Pipistrello table lamp.
In very clean vintage condition.
The Martinelli Luce Pipistrello is a 1965 design by designer Gae Aulenti for the Martinelli Luce brand. This striking lamp has diffuser formed from curved lines. The combination of the diffuser with a solid base gives this lamp an elegant, dynamic look.
The Pipistrello is made of stainless steel and methacrylate.

A beautiful original Pipistrello, or bat, lamp designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965 and produced by Martinelli Luce until today. Very impressive lamp with 4 lamps, a methacrylate plastic shade, height adjustable telescopic body and cream metal conical base. The already quite substantial lamp is also height adjustable by unscrewing the telescopic part.
This is a somewhat older model. Comes with a square push switch.
Otherwise the lamp is in good condition. There are some very small scratches on the metal base (see photo).
The lamp is in very good vintage condition for its age.
