Martin Visser was a Dutch designer, architect, art collector and avant-gardist. From 1954 until the late 1970s, Visser was head designer at the Dutch furniture company Spectrum. Visser's designs are characterized by clear lines and practicality and embody the modernist ethos of "form follows function". Martin Visser designed the Osaka armchair for the Dutch pavilion at the 1970 World Expo in Osaka. Chrome-plated tubular steel frame. Covered with black leather. Very good condition.
