Who is Martin Bradley – 'Rimbaud of Soho', Buddhist, Surrealist?
Martin Bradley (1931, Richmond, Surrey, England) is best known as a painter and sculptor and has lived in Japan with his Japanese wife Tsatsuko since 2008. His painting is strongly influenced by Japanese and Chinese influences, ancient cultures, cave paintings, Buddhism, symbolism and calligraphy, leading to his own cosmopolitan style reminiscent of Miró, Klee and COBRA.
