This tableware, by the famous artist Marlene Dumas, is part of a series of tableware published between 1986 and 1990 by the then Museum Fodor in Amsterdam and manufactured by Koninklijke Mosa BV in Maastricht. The services were published in an edition of 250 pieces. The twelve sets in the series were designed by Marlene Dumas, Erik Andriesse, Rob Birza, Han Schuil, Marin Schouten, Kees de Goede, Rob van Koningsbruggen, Peter Struycken, Toon Verhoef, Carel Visser, Co Westerik and Lawrence Weiner. The Fodor tableware is also owned by, among others, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Centraal Museum, Rijksmuseum Twenthe and the Prinsessehof. See also my other ads.
