This desk lamp was designed by the German designer Marianne Brandt (1893-1983). Marianne Brandt was a painter, sculptor, photographer and designer: Brandt's reputation in a world of men was established, especially through her industrial products made of metal and glass.
The lamp has new wiring. The lamp was given a green coat of paint in the past and the original patinated layer is still clearly visible.
