Artist: Margo Ellen. My work consists of paintings, graphics and sculptures in stone. Education: Artibus Academy in Utrecht. Several exhibitions at home and abroad. Work can be found in the collections of private individuals, companies and government institutions. Graphics Prize in 1993. I gain inspiration for my art during travels to Asia, the Middle East and Southern Europe. The other landscape, but above all the symbolism of the ancient cultures, interwoven with their people, touch me deeply. It often gives a new impulse for new shapes and colours. The contrast, the play between light and dark, plays an important and surprising role in this. This etching is inspired by Tuscany, near Siena, a beautiful graphic landscape
