Since I personally picked up this lamp from my cousin Marcel, I can assure you that it is a real Marcel Wanders lamp.
Apart from a small dent at the bottom (see photo), the lamp still looks fine. The top cover is discoloured: not very visible during the day, but it is when the light is on, but this gives it a 'warm' appearance.
