MARC REMUS FRANCE - Neo Pop Art, original with signature 200cm x 120cm
Marc Remus (born November 28, 1969 in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen) is a German neo-pop artist, painter, illustrator and writer. He works primarily in mixed media, acrylic, watercolor, tea and coffee. Remus is known for his city views. He has painted over a hundred mostly European and North American cities.
In 2002, Remus began creating his first series of city views, which he titled City Impressions. In 2006, Remus changed his painting style from a more traditional, realistic style of painting to a colorful Neo-Pop Art style, concentrating on metropolitan areas of the world. He painted German, American, European and Japanese cities and called the collection Fun Cities. In 2009 he expanded both the paintings in the series and the title, which was henceforth called Fun Cities & Countries. Today, Remus still works in the neo-pop art style.
