Description Stunning large color screen print by Marc Chagall from 1974. This beautiful work on handmade paper was published in 1974 on the occasion of the Chagall Exposition at the PACE GALLERY in COLUMBUS -- OHIO (USA). Sheet size 78 x 56 cm signed in print. Chagall was born in the part of the Russian Empire that later became White. He later changed his name to the more French Marc Chagall. He was the son of a simple herring merchant and the eldest of nine children. The family was Hasidic Jewish. This poor but happy period in Chagall's life appears numerous times in his work.
