Ceramic coffee table by ceramicist Lutgart De Meyer. As one of the founding members of the Antwerp avant-garde movement G58, De Meyer devoted himself to ceramics and was soon recognized as one of the key figures who established the artistic autonomy of this medium. This coffee table dates from the 1960s and displays a playful combination of a chrome base and a white ceramic pattern on the top. The table is in excellent condition. The table has always been at my grandparents in Antwerp, after which I got it as an heirloom. Now due to relocation I decided to sell it after 15 years and he goes out of the family after more than 30 years. Width: 90 cm / 35.43 inches Depth: 90 cm / 35.43 inches Height: 35 cm / 13.78 inches The table is very heavy as the ceramic is cast in concrete.
