Designed in 1929 by Ludwig Mies vor der Rohe based on a design by Sergius Ruegenberg for the German pavilion at the World Exhibition in Barcelona. Today, the Barcelona armchair and the matching stool are considered icons of modernism. Covered with cognac-colored leather. Good used condition with signs of wear commensurate with age. The cushion filling has been replaced.
