PRODUCT INFORMATION
The 1989 design arose from a collaboration between the two Italian designers. Paolo Rizzatto specialized mainly in lighting design. Alberto Meda's work is characterized by the exploration and application of new materials and techniques. This formed the perfect combination to realize the design of the Titania Pendant Lamp. The elliptical shape of the Titania Pendant Lamp has a futuristic appearance. Like a true spaceship, this lamp seems to float in the air. With its unique appearance, the Titania is among Luceplan's most successful and requested designs. Thanks to the lightweight aluminum housing, it is even possible to hang the lamp even on sloping ceilings, as well as plaster and wood ceilings.
All included color filters give the Titania a special lighting effect, where the color filter colors the lamp body, but the ambient light continues to emit its warm white color. It is a rarity (!) that all color filters are still present, see photos. Indeed, new price of a filter set like this is approx. €75,- Counterweight approx. €50,- etc., etc., etc.
The lamp is composed of a steel support structure with an aluminum lamellar housing.
Hereby, the lamp has a length of 70 centimeters, a width of 27 centimeters and a height of 8 centimeters. An included white ceiling cap ensures a stylish mounting of the lamp. The suspension height is additionally adjustable between 100 and 250 centimeters at your choice.
A spherical counterweight provides this height adjustment. Also a curiosity that the counterweight is still present: in fact, many a lamp is sold without this item.
The Titania pendant lamp has an E27 fitting and is supplied by us including light source. The lamp is dimmable via an external dimmer.
