Product description
The Agaricon (Greek for mushroom) was designed by Ross Lovegrove in the late 1990s for Luceplan of Italy. This lightweight and semi-transparent lamp is turned on and off by touching an aluminum sensor ring that runs around the outside of the lamp.By running your finger along the edge you control the light intensity. The housing and lid are made of high-pressure injection-molded polycarbonate. Unfortunately, three small plastic clips to hold the lid in place are missing but even without them the lamp works fine (only if you tilt the lamp or hold it upside down is that a problem).
