Lounge chair in bentwood and white leather by designers Takashi Okamura and Erik Marquardsen, Nelo Sweden edition. Strong 80s design.
Stamped on the frame with the publisher's nameplate.
Structure in thick plywood, curved in black, housing a canvas stretched like a hammock, on which a white leather seat is hung. This makes for a very comfortable position.
Some signs of age and use on the original leather, with minor scratches.
Good overall vintage condition.
The axis of the armchair base rotates 360°.
Design duo Takashi Okamura and Erik Marquardsen founded their studio Design O & M in the '70s and were very active in the '80s. They collaborated with several furniture brands, including Nelo in Sweden and Getama in Denmark.
