Product description
The iconic "Conch" (Danish for "Konkylie") suspension lamp designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1964 for Copenhagen's Tivoli garden. Reputed to be Louis Weisdorf's first design and limited in production numbers due to high manufacturing costs, these lamps are highly sought-after.
It's a superb geometric pendant with a construction that allows the bulb to be hidden, but composed of 12 metal plates that form a conch shape allowing the light to omit stunning lighting effects when on, but just as stunning when off. It's an iconic Danish design.
This piece is fully functional, rewired, safety tested and successfully fitted with an Edison E27/E26 screw fitting. It is supplied with a new minimal rosette.
